St. Mary’s University reserves the right to determine eligibility for student housing. For the purposes of this policy, the University may consider an individual to be a student when an offer of admission has been extended and thereafter as long as the student has a continuing educational interest in the University. Notwithstanding this definition, no person’s application to live in University-owned and operated student housing shall be accepted unless that person is a full-time student in their respective degree program at St. Mary’s University.
The following are minimum requirements to be eligible for on-campus housing:
- Students must be registered for, and maintain throughout the semester, the minimum number of credits considered full-time based on their undergraduate, graduate, or law school program.
- Undergraduate students must be at least 16 years of age upon checking into the residence hall.
- University employees who are registered for university credit hours pursuit the University’s Employee Tuition Benefits program are not eligible for on-campus housing.
