Transferring from Alamo Colleges to St. Mary’s

We want to make your transition from Alamo Colleges to St. Mary’s go smoothly. We typically accept transfer credits if you have earned at least a C (2.0 on a 4.0 scale).

Admission Requirements

  • 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale in all academic work
  • Good standing at the Alamo Colleges

Applicants with a 2.0-2.49 GPA may be considered for probationary admission. Developmental or technical coursework is not considered as part of your GPA, so please speak with us to determine your eligibility. Meeting the GPA requirements does not guarantee admission; we consider every application on a case-by-case basis.
