Shawna Corley, Ph.D., is a dedicated professional who is passionate about counseling and education. Her journey in the field of counseling began with a solid academic foundation, culminating in her Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Driven by a thirst for knowledge and a commitment to excellence, Corley is furthering her expertise by pursuing a second doctoral degree in Forensic Psychology at Walden University and is currently ABD. This dual academic pursuit reflects her deep-seated desire to expand her understanding of human behavior and the complexities of the human mind.

Licensed as a Professional Counselor Supervisor and a Chemical Dependency Counselor in Texas, Corley possesses a wealth of experience in various clinical settings. She is a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and National Certified Counselor. Her specialization areas encompass trauma, sexual assault, working with children witnesses to murder, and innovative approaches such as animal-assisted therapy.
