Michael James Schaub, CPA, joined the Greehey School of Business at St. Mary’s University as an adjunct professor in Fall 2019. He currently teaches principals of accounting and is excited to be a resource for students.

In addition to serving as an Adjunct Professor of Accounting, Schaub is the Chief Financial Officer of Santikos Entertainment. Schaub’s responsibilities at Santikos include financial accounting and reporting, capital management, financial planning and forecasting, cash-flow management, risk management, treasury management, and vendor management.

After earning his B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Texas at San Antonio, Schaub started his professional accounting career with the firm of Price Waterhouse. Schaub continued his 20-year career as an auditor with Ernst & Young and retired from BDO as a partner in their assurance practice. In addition, prior to his career in public accounting, Schaub served in the United States Navy as an Aircrewman and Aviation Structural Mechanic. Schaub is a San Antonio native and enjoys spending time with his wife, Darla, and their three daughters.
