Biography
Ajaya K. Swain, Ph.D., joined the Greehey School of Business faculty in 2014. He has a doctorate in Operations Management and an M.B.A. in Business Statistics from Texas Tech University. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial and Management Systems Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Swain has worked in manufacturing operations and supply chain in various capacities. He has published his research in the European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Manufacturing Processes, Decision Sciences Institute (DSI) annual meeting proceedings, and Hawaii International Conference on System Sciences (HICSS) proceedings.
Swain currently teaches courses in Operations Management and Business Intelligence. He is an active member of DSI and a reviewer for several academic journals.
