Communication Studies

The Department of Communication Studies develops future leaders, advocates, visual designers, writers and communicators through an interdisciplinary, international and integrated program of communication research, education, engagement and application.

Through its undergraduate program and student organizations, it focuses on understanding how information processes and communication technologies impact to local and global communities and prepares students for careers as effective and ethical communicators and leaders, with awareness of and appreciation for contemporary communication issues and with the skills and tools conducive to success across professional contexts.

Rattler Readiness

Have you lost your job due to COVID-19? Rattler Readiness is a virtual workforce development workshop open to Bexar County residents. The workshop is in partnership with Project Quest and is no cost to participants.
