San Antonio — Rattlers junior post Joe Dinkins sat out most of Saturday’s game after seemingly aggravating his left elbow/forearm in the first half of St. Mary’s loss to Central Missouri State.

Dinkins said after the game that he thinks he should be healthy in time for the Rattlers’ next game, coming against Pittsburg State on Dec. 17.

Dinkins, averaging 2.9 points and 2.9 rebounds in seven starts, played only five minutes before leaving the game. Dinkins did not return and spent the second half on the bench with his left arm wrapped in a sling.
