Music Department at St. Mary’s University
on Tuesday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m. will welcome
Italian pianist Andrea Padova who will present
a recital of music by J.S. Bach, Mendelssohn,
Chopin, and Fabrizio Festa.
Padova in 1995 won the J.S. Bach International
Competition. No less an authority than Harold C. Schonberg
wrote that Andrea Padova’s playing has “a strong personality,
conviction, freedom, and style.”
The concert — free and open to the public — will be held at
Treadaway Recital Hall on the St. Mary’s campus, One Camino
Santa Maria.
