Biography

Priscilla Reyna-Vasquez is a Licensed Professional Counselor – Supervisor, National Certified Counselor, Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor, and a Board Certified- TeleMental Health Counselor. She has extensive training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Priscilla specializes in working with children and adolescents utilizing play therapy, sandtray therapy, and the expressive arts. She has been a clinical director of an outpatient program for a mental health hospital and has worked in various community mental health settings including private practice. She has presented locally, nationally, and internationally on topics that include TeleMental Health in Counseling, Play Therapy, Teleplay Therapy, and Expressive Techniques in Counseling. She currently serves on the Association for Play Therapy (APT) Ethics Committee and is part of the APT Artificial Intelligence (AI) task force developing ethics and best practices for play therapists. She serves as a Regional Liaison for the Texas Play Therapy Association (TxAPT) and is a graduate of the APT Leadership Academy. She enjoys traveling, golfing, and cherishes her time with her daughter and husband.
