For the third straight season, the St. Mary’s University STUNT team will be headed to the national championship. USA Cheer and STUNT announced the qualifiers this week, and the Rattlers are one of the 11 teams to advance.
The St. Mary’s team finished the regular season ranked 10th in the country with a 13-10 record. The team placed second at the Lone Star Conference Championship. The Rattlers have now qualified for the national championship in all three seasons of competition.
The STUNT National Championship will be held in Nashville, Tennessee, from April 24 to 27, and will be broadcast live on FloCheer. The other qualifiers, in alphabetical order, are: Ashland, Concordia Irvine, DBU, Davenport, Jessup, Maryville, Oklahoma Baptist, Tiffin, Travecca Nazarene, and Vanguard.
Seeding and scheduling for the national championship will be announced at a later date.
