On Wednesday, April 9, and Thursday, April 10, St. Mary’s University will host Research Showcase 2025, a fun and engaging event to celebrate the scholarly and creative achievements happening throughout campus.

On April 9, the event kicks off with a networking event for faculty and students, followed by an inspiring alumni panel discussion, a poster symposium featuring faculty and student research, and creative activities. 

Then, on April 10, attendees can select from concurrent oral presentations during which faculty and students share their interdisciplinary research. The day also includes a vibrant arts, music and theater exhibition, culminating with an inspiring keynote address and an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding contributions. April 10 is an Alternative Day of Learning and undergraduate classes will not convene as regularly scheduled.

Research Connect: Faculty and Student Networking Event

Wednesday, April 9

As part of Research Showcase, this event provides a dedicated space for faculty and student researchers to connect, exchange ideas and explore opportunities for scholarly engagement. Faculty are invited to showcase their research and discuss potential projects, while students can learn how to get involved in faculty-led research. Faculty seeking student researchers for the summer and fall semesters are invited to participate in this event.  

Keynote Panel and Awards Ceremony

Thursday, April 10

4 to 6 p.m.
University Center, Mengler Conference Room

St. Mary’s will host a keynote panel as well as faculty and student awards to celebrate achievements. The event will include insights from St. Mary’s University faculty on the topic of Building and Broadening Interdisciplinary Research.
