Austin, Texas – A fine Rattler career was honored Saturday, as St. Mary’s men’s tennis star Marcin Marczewski was named the Heartland Conference Men’s Tennis Co-Outstanding Senior, the league announced following the conclusion of the conference championship tournament.

Marczewski, a native of Warsaw, Poland and a three-time winner of the conference’s Player of the Week award this season, also highlighted a list of four Rattlers to earn All-Conference recognition.

Joining Marczewski on the list were Andrej Klipa (Jr., Belgrade, Serbia), Carlos Olea (So., Matamoros, Mexico) and Jake Williams (Sr., Dallas).

The Rattlers wrapped up their bounce-back season Saturday under first-year coach Lisa Dausin, falling to host St. Edward’s, 5-0, in the final round of the Heartland Conference championship.
