San Antonio — The Rattlers weren’t joking around on April Fool’s Day, grabbing a pair of conference victories against Oklahoma Panhandle State University.

The Rattlers (23-9, 16-4) won the front end of the double header 1-0, while winning Game 2 9-1.

Caleb Staudt pitched a three-hit shutout in Game 1. Senior first baseman John Alvarez (pictured) scored the lone, game-winning run.

Brandon Lippe won Game 2, pitching a shutout until being replaced in the final inning.
