St. Mary’s junior men’s golfer Jamie Amoretti finished atop the leaderboard in the UCO/Kickingbird Classic. Amoretti finished 6 under par for the tournament, which was held from March 26-28 in Edmond, Okla., with a total score of 204.

Amoretti wasn’t the only Rattler taking the tournament by storm, though. Junior Aaron Welch finished in a tie for eighth at 1 over par after shooting a total of 211 in the three rounds. Senior Greg McAuley tied for 19th place, giving the Rattlers three players in the top 20. McCauley shot 217 (6 over par) in the tournament.

Also, David Holguin finished +8, Braden Graham shot +11, KC Lim shot +12 and P.J. Crane shot +17.

As a team, the Rattlers finished third at +6 with a total score of 850.
