St. Mary’s University’s Department of Drama and the Open Stage Theatre will
present GOD, a play
by Woody Allen in the Reinbolt Theatre beginning this week.
This modern comedy reveals the struggle of a playwright trying to find the
perfect ending
for his tragedy in time to enter the Athenian Drama Festival. Along the
way he encounters
some interesting characters and faces some tough questions. Is everything
really just meaningless?!
Directed by Mellissa Marlowe, with a set created by Neil Jarrell, lights by
Bernadette Hamilton-Brady,
and featuring a cast and crew of 18 St. Mary’s students.
Performances are scheduled for March 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, and 14 at 8 p.m.,
and Sunday, March 9 at 2:30 p.m.
Tickets are $10 general admission and $5 for students and seniors.
